Tiny Land (the website at app.tiny-land.co.uk and the Tiny Land iPhone app) is run by [owner to be added]. We are the controller of your personal data under UK data protection law. Questions or requests: [contact email to be added].
What we collect
- Account: your email address, your name, and the answers you give when you first join (how familiar you are with making, and what you plan to make for).
- Marketing choice: whether you ticked to hear about updates, and when.
- Purchases: if you buy Pro, a record of the purchase (date, amount, and the payment reference from Stripe or Apple). We never see or store your card details.
- Usage: the pages you visit, how long you stay, the referring site, your IP address and an approximate location (country, region, city) worked out from it.
- Sign-in cookies: small cookies that keep you signed in. They are essential and we use no advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To provide your account and Pro licence (contract): signing you in, unlocking what you’ve paid for, and producing your seller’s certificate.
- To email you updates (consent): only if you ticked the box. Change your mind any time on your Account page.
- To keep Tiny Land working and secure, and to understand what is used (legitimate interests): usage records and blocking abuse.
- To meet legal duties (legal obligation): keeping payment records for tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We use these providers to run the service:
- Supabase — database and sign-in (stored in London).
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Stripe — card payments on the website.
- Apple and RevenueCat — App Store purchases in the iPhone app.
- Brevo — marketing emails, only if you opted in.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Usage records are kept for analysis and are de-identified when you delete your account. Payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw marketing consent. You can delete your account yourself on the Account page. For anything else, email [contact email to be added]. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Tiny Land accounts are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
